For me, photography is more than just technique – it's an adventure of light, perspective and creativity.
But between real fundamentals and persistent myths, there is often a jungle of half-knowledge that prevents many from reaching their full potential. This is exactly where I want to start with my new video series.
I take my viewers on a journey behind the scenes of photography – to the place where simple techniques create impressive images. I explain in an understandable way why some ‘rules’ actually work, while others are nothing more than myths that cost time and energy. Whether it's exposure, lens selection or composition principles: with clear examples and in-depth knowledge, I bring order to the chaos.

Good news – our website will soon be getting an exciting new feature!
It will soon be possible to book photography trips and courses securely online. This will make planning your photographic adventures even easier and more convenient.
For data protection reasons, we do not want to have to rely on an external service provider, which is why we are developing our own extension that we will offer as open source. Wherever necessary, contracts with external providers (hotels, tour guides) will be drafted in such a way that data protection is guaranteed.

Photo Walk
I have organised several photo walks over the last few years. Some of them were in Solothurn, but that is about to change. I will no longer be including Solothurn in my future plans. Since May 2021, I have been in conflict with Solothurn Tourism, which is why I have deleted all photos of Solothurn from Instagram Account. I am aware that some of the previous participants in these photo walks will be disappointed. However, I am in the process of planning further photo walks in other cities where my participants will be treated with respect. I am no longer willing to advertise Solothurn Tourism, especially not for free.
Redesign of our courses
In an ever-changing world, the way we learn is constantly evolving. Using the latest scientific findings and proven pedagogical concepts, we are fundamentally redesigning our courses and workshops to provide an even more effective and inspiring learning experience. In an age where digital media and technology-enhanced learning play a central role, it is crucial for photography courses to adapt to these trends in order to offer learners the best possible experience.
Learning modules
Different photographic areas also place different demands on our courses and workshops. For this reason, some learning methods are only used where they make sense. However, we have an extensive modular system at our disposal to expand our courses and workshops.
Business relocation
After years in rented properties, I have now managed to acquire a property that meets my needs. With it, I am creating new inspiring spaces, space for creativity.
